Ok so I know I’ve been really lazy at the moment but I literally
just can’t help it. I am up to my eyeballs with work and social life and trying
to visit family all at the same time! Life gets stressful! Also, I am not sure
what I am allowed to say and what not to say because I signed a contract when
starting at Adidas and I wouldn’t like to say the wrong thing.
So I am in the end of my third week now and I have just one more
week to go until the end of my contract is up. Next week is the Press day and
we have all be seriously busy preparing ourselves for the event. I have had
countless meetings and presentations with celebrities, interior designers,
bloggers and journalists all week. My week started with walking around with the
interior designers with a map my manager had given me to show where they would
like to display objects for our press day to be placed and what features,
plants, posters and lighting etc. they would like. There is two interior
designers so I had to repeat myself twice in a meeting with these guys.
I also was able to go along to a gig at o2 Brixton to see stormzy
perform live. Which was so much fun! Again I have been able to attended photo
shoots and represent Adidas at numerous press day and launches. I have also
been lucky enough to meet Super model Jourdan Dunn. I was able to lay out
clothes for her shoot she was doing abroad.
The highlight of my week was being able to assist Toni Tran (fashion
blogger of fashitects) with some samples for a shoot he was doing with a super
yacht in Southampton. I really enjoyed meeting him for coffee and then showing
the samples we had on offer for his shoot. I am so happy my manager gave me the
opportunity to do this. The rest of the week I have been preparing the press
clippings in a folder for the managers to take away to the head office in
Germany at the start of next week, they then come back and a day later it’s the
press day! So it has to be perfect for them to come back in.
I am off to get some sleep now and I am going home for the weekend
for some chill time. So apologies if I do not post for a while.
