I have had so much fun! I have definitely chose the right career path. I love PR and Marketing.
The guys at The Sunday Times feel because I have progressed quickly, would like me to go to press events and represent the Sunday Times Style. I attended the Rimmel London press day and was given free makeup to trial at home. I have also been to a Bloggers hub and received more products to try at home and write reviews about them. I have enjoyed meeting so many people and an honour to be able to represent the Sunday Times Style at these events.
- This week we also had a company called Coty - who hold various labels and collections under their roof. They came outside of the News Building to give us free ice cream which was honestly delicious.
- We have had a protest outside of the new building with paparazzi asking employees questions and all sorts of crazy business going on. It was chaos. At one point one of the security members had to escort me up to the London Bridge train station for my safety!
- I got to meet two of the stylists who work on the magazine and also was given a bag of goodies to take away with me from the beauty editor.
- The director of the magazine also asked for my help! MY HELP! They would like to set up a Snapchat channel which i managed to start up for them and designed a brainstorm about all the ideas they could use for the Snapchat, they loved my ideas and I get to pitch them to the team on Friday's morning briefing.
Its a real shame this internship is only two weeks long, this first week has honestly been amazing and I cannot wait to return on Monday!
